Kenneth J. Bloomfield

Kenneth Joseph Bloomfield, born November 28, 1927, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on November 27, 2022. Loving husband and 66 year life partner of the deceased Mary Bloomfield. Amazing father to his daughter Lisa Muzaurieta and her husband Aurelio Muzaurieta and to his son and late daughter in-law Craig and Dawn Bloomfield. Proud grandfather of Aurelio, Alejandro and Maria Muzaurieta.

Survived by his sister and brother in-law Arlene and Jerry Flaishans, his brother Darryl Bloomfield, his sister Janet Atherton and sister in-law Anne Bloomfield.

Preceded in death by his brothers Marvin Bloomfield and Donald Bloomfield, and his sister Beverly Pike, and his brother in-laws Neal Pike and Harry Atherton. Son of Ernest and Gladys Bloomfield.

Ken served in the US Airforce during the Korean War in the 127 Motor Vehicle Squadron at Luke Airforce Base. He was a genuinely kind man and loved by all. His love for family, friends and baseball was infectious. He will be deeply missed.

Visiting arrangements will be held at Martenson Funeral Home, located at 3200 West Road Trenton, Michigan, on Friday December 2nd from 2pm to 9pm. His memorial service will be held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Trenton, Michigan on Saturday Dec 3rd at 10am
