Kenneth Lewis Wright

Kenneth Lewis Wright, age 73 of South Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor. Born January 21, 1948 in Trenton, Ken was the son of Albert and Virginia (Lewis) Wright. A graduate of Airport High School, he then faithfully served our country in the United States Army. Ken married the love of his life, Sharon Jill Bauerle, on November 2, 1974. He worked as a tool maker at Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant for 13 years and then as a Long Haul Truck Driver with Fleet Carrier for over 30 years, retiring in 2006. Ken was a member of South Rockwood United Methodist Church, the NRA and the Harley Owners Group. Ken leaves to cherish his memory, Jill, his wife of the past 46 years; children: Kendra (David) Baker, Nicholas Wright and Alex Wright; grandchildren: Jacob Wright, Joshua Wright and Gabriella Baker; as well as three siblings: David (Joann) Wright, Cheryl Wright and William (Rhonda) Wright. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a son Zachary Wright. Memorial Contributions in honor of Ken may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
