Kevin C. Darnell. Age 59, of Romulus, passed away August 10, 2017 at his home. Born March 12, 1958 in Detroit to Jefferson and Theresa (Valesano) Darnell, Jr. Kevin worked in machine maintenance for Brass Craft for 30 + years. He married Karen L. Hardy July 8, 2006 in Flat Rock. Kevin was a Coleman lantern collector and also enjoyed fishing and camping. Kevin is survived by his wife Karen Darnell of Romulus; Step-son Justin Morgan of Monroe; Step-grandson Oliver Morgan of Monroe; siblings David Darnell of Hamburg, Brian (Debbie) Darnell of Hamburg and Kim Darnell of Redford. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Jefferson and Theresa Darnell, Step-son David Morgan and 2 sisters Cindy Darnell and Candy Maestas. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-9pm at The Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm Ave., with a service at 5pm at the funeral home. Tracy M. Esper will officiate.
