Listen to Obituary

Kevin Eugene Shepherd, a devoted and cherished family man, passed away on May 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and pride that reflects the life he so earnestly lived. Born on June 22, 1965, he was the son of Kelley and Mary (Newsom) Shepherd. Kevin grew up with a strong sense of commitment and craftsmanship, qualities that shaped both his personal and professional life. A graduate of Southgate Anderson High School, he went on to become a valued welder with C.L. Rieckhoff Metal Fabricators, where his work ethic and skill were held in high regard by colleagues and friends alike.

Kevin was a man who derived immense joy and pride from his pets, considering them among his proudest accomplishments. His love for his animals was a testament to his nurturing spirit and deep compassion, traits that those close to him remember fondly.

He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Manda Fernandez, Mary (Mark) Price, Kathy Shepherd, and Paul (Carie) Shepherd, who carry forward his memory in their hearts. Though the bond with his twin brother Kelley Shepherd was tragically severed by his passing, the connection they shared remains a poignant part of his story and a source of bittersweet remembrance.

Kevin Eugene Shepherd’s journey may have ended, but his spirit, his kindness, and the pride he took in all he held dear remain indelible. He touched the lives of many with his steady presence, his work, and his love, creating a lasting imprint on all who knew him. His memory will forever be treasured and his absence deeply felt.
