Kim J. Hibbard

Kim J. Hibbard, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and wife, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Born on August 13, 1955, Kim was known for her unwavering passion for life and her deep affection for her family.

Kim was proudly married to Rocky Hibbard, and together they fostered a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. She is survived by her husband, Rocky, and their two devoted children: Erik Hibbard (Nicole) and Rachel Rubin (Kevin). A proud grandmother, Kim cherished her role as a grandmother to Keith, Grace, Christian, and Kelsi, who brought her immense joy and kept her spirit lively.

She also leaves behind her siblings, Kurt Matthews and Karen Gardner, along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom will fondly remember her as a source of love and inspiration.

Kim's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She was notably obsessed with Elvis Presley, often expressing her admiration for the iconic musician through various means. A keen reader, she found great pleasure in devouring books by James Patterson. Additionally, she had a remarkable talent for photography, capturing the beauty of wildlife, flowers, and precious moments with her family.

Throughout her life, Kim's proudest accomplishments revolved around being the best wife, mom, and grandma she could be, a testament to her commitment to her loved ones.

The memory of Kim will be honored with visitation at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes in Trenton, MI, on July 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at Faith United Methodist Church in Trenton on July 30, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM, following a time for reflection beginning at 11:30 AM.

Kim J. Hibbard will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her legacy of love and devotion lives on through her cherished family and friends.
