Koons Jr., Lawrence E., age 92 of Riverview. Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary. Loving father of Larry (Nora) Koons, Terry (Jean) Koons, Timothy (Kathy) Koons, and Tammera (Chris) Kutz. Preceded in death by his son, Gary. Loving brother-in-law to Jesse (Sue) Jenkins. Beloved grandpa of nine grandkids, fourteen great grandkids, and one great great grandchild. Lawrence was preceded in death by his seven siblings and also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Lifetime Riverview resident with 44 years at Pennwalt Corporation. Long time member of Legacy Church in Riverview. A visitation in honor of Lawrence will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the Ridge Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held the following day October 8, 2017 at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Officiating by Pastor Phil Rogers. Burial at Ferndale Cemetery to follow.
