Leokadia "Lottie" Dagostini

Born in Detroit, Leokadia was the daughter of Peter and Marianna Kowalewski. She married the love of her life, Albert Dagostini, April of 1944. Sadly he preceded her in death in June of 1988. Lottie (Leokadia) had been a member of Our Lady Gate of Heaven, St. Beatrice and most recently Transformation Catholic Church. She started working from the age of 13 at a laundromat then was a tool and die maker for many years, managed coupons for several grocery stores and worked all of her life while being a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing pinochle, dancing, gardening, Sudoku puzzles and watching Dancing with the Stars but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Lottie leaves her children to cherish her precious memory: Rose Marie Schroeder (Bill), Patricia (Gary) Cotter and Kathleen (Richard) Harvie; as well as seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers (Pete, Joey, Mitchell, and Eddie), one sister (Helen) and one son-in-law (Gary).
