Leonard Sides

Leonard Karl Sides was born on August 23, 1936 in Carbon Hill, Alabama and died on July 8, 2019 at Seasons Hospice at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 82; he was of Brownstown Twp. Loving husband of the late Mella Faye. Beloved father of Randy (Tina) Sides. Proud grandpa of Shannon (Steve) Hazelett and Dylan Sides and great papa of Nathan, Zack, Lucas and Logan. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Della (nee: Leonard) Sides and he was the last of their 9 children. He was the President and co-owner along with his son Randy of Leonard and Randy , Inc. Visitation is on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 10 am to 3 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service is on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 12 pm at the funeral home. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery at the conclusion of visitation. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
