Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Yolanda Ann Rieberger, age 71, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, on June 15, 2026.

Yolanda was born on February 21, 1955, at Garden City Hospital to Milton Harmon Jr. and Billie Jo Sparks, both of whom preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her husband, John Rieberger; her children, Nicole Yorke (Nathan), Kristi Beasley, and Coalbie Nicholls; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Chloe and Joel Cholette, Emma and Elijah Yorke, Breelyn, Lexie and Noah Banks, Annabelle and Liam Nicholls, and Miles Shaw; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Hayden, Mila, Grayson, Raven, Jack, Penelope, and Charlie.

Yolanda is also survived by her siblings, Garnett Jo (David) and Jess (Priscilla), along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Yolanda spent many years working in food service before retiring, where she built countless friendships and connections through her kindness, hard work, and gift for conversation. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone, making people feel welcome wherever she went.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures - reading, sitting on the porch, trips to the casino, spending time with family and friends, and watching her great-grandchildren grow. She loved listening to live music, especially Holeshot, and enjoyed keeping up with the royal family.

Yolanda was feisty, fearless, and never afraid to speak her mind. She was a hard worker who always went out of her way to help others. Fiercely loyal, she would defend the people she loved without hesitation. She had a strong spirit and a bold personality that made her unforgettable. If she cared for you, you knew it - and if she didn’t, you probably knew that too.

Yolanda leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and unconditional love. Her presence filled every room, and her absence leaves a space that can never be replaced.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
