Lorraine V. Weglarz

Click on the tribute wall above to view Lorraine's video tribute. Lorraine V. Weglarz, age 90 of Allen Park, passed away January 29th, 2022. Born June 13th, 1931 in Delray to the late Walter and Verna Weglarz. Beloved sister of James, Thomas (the late Bernadine), Joan (Frank) Miruzzi, Dorothy, Charles, Ralph (Elizabeth), and the late John, Walter (Michaeleen), and David. Also survived by sisters-in-law Louise Weglarz, Judy Weglarz, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Lorraine retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1991 after more than 23 years of employment as an executive secretary. In 2013 she received the “Rose Award” from the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau for her more than 35 years as a volunteer for Travelers Aid at the Detroit Metro Airport. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Drives and the Detroit PBS Channel 56 Pledge Drive. She also enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. She will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
