Click on the tribute wall above to view Louis’ video tribute. Louis Anton Hurliman Sr. of Allen Park passed away peacefully April 8, 2021. Born June 8, 1928 in Buffalo, New York. Loving husband of Ruth. Dear father of Louis Hurliman (Diane), Sue Francis (Harold), Mark Hurliman (Cara), Nancy Nicolls (Brian Chafins), Gail Sheeran (Bill), Janet Angellotti (Mark) Ann Fallon (Liam) preceded in death by: Daughter Judith Hurliman. Proud Grandfather of 18 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren. Louis served his country in the United States Navy 1946-1948. After the Navy he graduated from Canisius College in 1952. He retired from Great Lakes Steel, Zug Island in 1993. Louis enjoyed volunteering; he was an avid reader, loved to travel, listen to music, tinkering, Garage Sale-ing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced. We are not able to have food in the funeral home at this time. Thank you for understanding.
