Louis James Swift

Louis James Swift, born on May 25, 1971, in Trenton, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Woodhaven, Michigan. Louis was a beloved son, brother, and father who leaves behind a legacy enriched by his passions and the love of his family and friends.

Louis is survived by his son, Louis Joseph Swift; his father, Louis John Swift; his mother, Sharon Ann Swift; his sisters, Lori (Stephen) Shiroda and Lisa Swift; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

An avid guitar player, Louis had a profound love for heavy rock music that resonated throughout his life. He found joy not only in music but also in the thrill of movies, embracing the excitement they offered. His passion for these interests defined much of who he was, and he shared that enthusiasm with those around him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes on August 14, 2025. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, concluding at 7:00 PM. The chapel is located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI, 48101.

Louis’ vibrant spirit and warmth will be dearly missed, but his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
