It is with deep sorrow yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Louise Marie Griffiths, a devoted and cherished homemaker, who left us on May 4, 2026. Born on November 2, 1930, in Wyandotte, she was the daughter of Louis and Dora (Martin) Pavalock. Louise carried with her the warmth and love that marked every chapter of her remarkable journey.
A proud graduate of Trenton High School, she was married to Byron Dean on July 4, 1952. Sadly he preceded her in death February 16, 1965. Louise was then married to Walter Griffiths November 4, 1967. Sadly he also preceded her in death July 13, 2004. Her unwavering dedication to her family and faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood, a community to which she proudly devoted her heart and spirit, finding strength and solace in her faith every day.
Louise was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by those who loved her dearly: Keyna Bloom, Sharon Dean, Brian (Mary) Dean, Terese Dean, and Lonnie Griffiths. Her love extended to eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom remember her kindness, wisdom, and the special moments she cherished with each of them.
She is also remembered with love for the three siblings who preceded her in death, leaving a legacy of family bonds that endured through generations.
Family, faith, and home defined Louise’s life. Her steadfast commitment to her loved ones and to the values she held dear served as a beacon of light and comfort to all who knew her.
Though Louise has departed from this world, her legacy of care, faith, and love lives on profoundly in the hearts of her family and community. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love and honor.
