Born in River Rouge, Margaret was the daughter of Floyd and Thelma (Baumeister) Laurain. A graduate of Carleton High School, she worked as the Vice President of Operations for Trenton State Bank and then Security Bank, retiring in 1984. Margaret was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of The Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling up north.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews (who were like her own children: James (Laurie) Laurain, Terry Laurain, Andre (Sharon) Laurain, Tracie (Mark) Dussia, Katherine (Carl) Ashburner, Susan (Robert) Flores and Julie Laurain as well as many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Phyllis Laurain. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: F. Charles Laurain and James Laurain.
Memorial contributions in honor of Margaret may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church Rockwood.
