Margaret Welsh

Margaret J. Welsh, 93, of Allen Park, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Nov. 18, following a long illness. Margaret lived in Allen Park for most of her adult life in the same house on Sterling Avenue was a devoted housewife and mother to her son, Jim.

Margaret’s husband, James Senior, died in his 50s many years ago, and Margaret never remarried. She had two children, a daughter who passed away as an infant from crib death, and her son, James Michael Welsh, recently deceased. She was known as a kind and loving person who cared deeply for her son, James. She leaves behind a sister Helen Brown and a niece Susan Bernhardt both of Massachusetts.

A small service was held for Margaret at the Martenson Family Funeral Home in Allen Park. She was cremated and wished for her ashes to be spread at the gravesite of her husband.
