Margie M. Laginess

Margie was born on September 3, 1934 and went Home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2023 at the age of 89; she was formerly of Trenton. Beloved wife of the late Lafayette “Fay”. Loving mom of Dawn (Wally) Doran. Proud Mimi of Alicia (Rob) Roll, Rachel (Jeff) Rowell, Ashley (Joe) Weatherhead, Drew (Rochele) Doran and to Sienna, Alyvia, Ella, Audrey, Henry, Evelyn, Kate, Nora, Ava, Makenzie, Reese, Emmy, Hunter, Brooks and the late James. Dearest sister of Jean, Lonnie and Jerry. Preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Maude and her siblings Gus, Shirley, June, Vivian, Russell and Sharon. Also survived by her sisters-in-law; Barbara and Janet, her angel of a caregiver, Carol as well as many other loving family and friends. She was retired from the Gibraltar Public School System where she served as a Secretary.  Visitation is on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 3 - 9 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton.  Margie will lie in state at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 32477 Church St., Rockwood on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10 am until the time of the Funeral Litrugy which will begin at 10:30 AM. Private burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Rockwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Scholarship Fund with Carlson High School of Gibraltar School District.
