Perfili, Maria. Age 87, of Allen Park. December 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo. Loving mother of Lidia (Frank) Improta and Silvio. Dearest grandmother of Mark (Danielle) Improta and Carlo Improta. Great grandmother of Antonella and Lorenzo Improta. Dear sister of Luigi (Ida) DeSantis. Survived also by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Francesco and Teresa DeSantis, brother Antonio DeSantis, sister-in-law Elena DeSantis and Zia Annunziata DeSantis. Maria and her husband were founders of Vince's Italian Restaurant in Detroit, established in 1960. Visitation Tuesday 5-8pm and Wednesday 2-8pm at The Allen Park Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (corner of Goddard). Rosary Wednesday 7pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass Thursday, instate 10am until 11am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Melvindale. Entombment Holy Sepulchre, Southfield.
