Marie F. Mckee

McKee, Marie F. ; age 80, of Rockwood, passed away in her home on March 29, 2016. Marie was born on December 2, 1935 in Rockwood, where she resided for 80 years. She was the daughter of George and Eunice Beaubien Lemerand. Marie married John McKee on September 4, 1954 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood. She is survived by her husband John, son Michael of Hastings, Michigan, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 4 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Ron and Don Lemerand and 2 sons; Gregory of Northwood, Ohio and Randy of Rockwood, Michigan. In addition to being a homemaker, Marie was a bus driver for Gibraltar Schools. Marie worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years before retiring. She enjoyed hunting with her husband and 3 sons up north. She enjoyed bowling, golf, bingo and playing cards. Most of all she liked to watch her grandchildren play in different sports and Fair activities. She also liked to have family reunions with all the children and relatives. Donations in memory of Marie may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
