Mariella Goff, born on April 20, 1937, in Parish, Alabama, passed away on August 27, 2025, in Livonia, Michigan. She lived a life characterized by her unwavering dedication to her community and an earnest passion for family, embodying the virtues of kindness and generosity until her last days.

Mariella devoted a significant portion of her life to volunteer work at the Allen Park Church of Christ and the Vinewood Church of Christ. Her commitment to service was reflected in her active participation in food drives aimed at supporting those in need, as well as her role as a teacher where she shared her knowledge and faith with others, helping to build stronger community bonds.

In addition to her altruistic endeavors, Mariella found joy in creative pursuits. She was skilled in sewing and took great pride in crafting in bears for children at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, bringing comfort and joy to young patients. Her love for reading, particularly mystery novels, offered her countless hours of enjoyment, enriching her life even further.

Family was at the heart of Mariella’s life; she cherished the time spent with them and took immense pride in her role as a devoted and cherished mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, James (Angela) Goff, Jeff (Karen) Goff, and Alan Goff; her daughter, Suzanne (Gary) Robb; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Morgan, Marshall, Andrew, Bynum, Danielle, Chelsea, Alex, Curtis, Madison, Amanda, Emmalee, and Grady P.; and her eleven great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Savage Goff of 68 years; her brother, Grady B.; and her parents, Grady D. and Laura Plyler.

Mariella's legacy is one of love, service, and compassion. Her ability to bring family together through her cooking, her pride in watching her children grow, and her unwavering support for her loved ones serve as a testament to the life she led.

A visitation will be held at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101, on September 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location, commencing at 6:30 PM.

Mariella Goff will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be remembered for her generous spirit and deep-seated love for family and community.
