Marilyn A. Wickenheiser, age 86, of Carleton, MI, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born August 6, 1932 in Newport, MI to Merrill and Myrtle (Fix) Cousino. She graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1950 and married Herman A. Wickenheiser January 24, 1953 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Newport. Marilyn was a homemaker and also worked part time for 10 years at the bank in Maybee. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Marilyn is survived by her children; Tim (Mary) Wickenheiser of Cleveland, OH, Joe (Maureen) Wickenheiser of Carleton, Karen Bayer of Monroe, Mary Chris (Bill) Olshelfske of Texas, Jeanne (Bob) Lange of Maybee, Laurie (Ken) White of Ottawa Lake, MI and Jan Evanski of Monroe; 24 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; sister-in-law's Shirley Cousino of South Rockwood, Sarah Waterstradt of Maybee and Frances Przybylo of Rockwood. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Herman Wickenheiser, parents Merrill and Myrtle Cousino and a brother Dale Cousino. Family will receive friends from 2-9 pm on Sunday at The Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm Ave., Monroe, where the Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 pm. Marilyn will lie in state Monday, October 8 at 10 am at Divine Grace Parish-St. Joseph Church, Maybee until the Funeral Liturgy at 11 am. Fr. Michael A. Woroniewicz will officiate. Interment will follow at Divine Grace Cemetery (St. Patrick's), Carleton. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation are asked to please consider donations to Divine Grace-St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee.
