Marilyn Newton

Marilyn Newton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025 at the age of 79. A devoted family woman, she cherished her children, Kim Herod (Malik Herod), Deanna Newton, Sean Newton and Chris (Melissa Newton), and her grandchildren, Ashlee Rice (Neil Fisher), Tanner Rice (Brianna Molina), Sam Masek, Richard Pagel, AJ Furry, Joshua Newton, and Caleb Newton and great grandchildren Emmy, Scarlett and Alluka. Marilyn will be fondly remembered for her kind heart, listening ear and love for her family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Newton, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Ridge Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 2272 W. Jefferson Ave. Trenton, MI 48183. Her funeral service will take place at 5:00 pm.
