Marion E. Scott

Marion E. Scott, née Lilienthal, born on July 29, 1930, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Trenton, Michigan, surrounded by her beloved family.

Marion was a pillar of strength and love, deeply cherished by her family and friends. She devoted her life to nurturing her children and created a warm, welcoming home filled with laughter and support. Marion leaves behind her loving daughters, Laurie (Joseph) Dixon, Dianne (Thomas) Budzyn, Joanne Levy, Jacquelyn (John) Lynch, and Patricia (Larry) Bohl, Kathryn (Marvin) Wougamon and her son, Martin (Teri) Scott.

Throughout her life, Marion embraced the joy of family, a legacy that is reflected in her twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit and love.

Marion is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 60 years, Gerald W. Scott, who provided unwavering support and companionship throughout their life together. She was also preceded by her parents, Martin and Ernestine Lilienthal, and her brothers, William and Martin Lilienthal.

Marion's presence will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the memories she created. Her life was a testament to the importance of family, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
