Mark Allen Bolander

Mark Allen Bolander passed away on September 2, 2026.

Born January 3, 1947 in Santa Monica, California, he was the son of Albert and Loretta (Barley) Bolander. He married the love of his life, Darlene Carter, on August 13, 1977.

Mark will be remembered as a man who gave his time generously to the people and communities around him. He was very active with Little League Baseball, where he coached, umpired, and also served on the Board of Directors. His commitment to community service extended as well to the Chain of Lakes Association Board, where he was a past president, and to the Hale Area Citizens Patrol. In each of these roles, he shared his energy, leadership, and steady presence in ways that touched many lives.

Above all, Mark’s life was rooted in family. He is survived by Darlene, his beloved wife of the past 49 years. He also leaves behind his daughters, Aimee (Robb) Roehrig and Keri (Brett) Haddox, who carry forward his memory with love. Mark was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters, Alberta Fortin and Dawn Salido, along with all who were blessed to know him and share in his life.

Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Craig Bolander.

Mark’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, in the community he served so faithfully, and in the many lives made better by his kindness, dedication, and care.
