Martha Sue Heck was born on September 23, 1952 in Monroe, Michigan to Wilbur Donald Heck and Lydia Matilda (Stotz) Heck. She married the love of her life Richard Wilson on December 28, 2013. She was a 1970 graduate of Monroe High School and a graduate of Olivet Nazarene College with a degree in social work. She was employed by Ohio Medical College in the Pharmacology Department for many years. She was also employed by Allore-Martenson Funeral Home. Martha was a lifelong member of East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, coordinating the blood drives held at East Ida Lutheran Church. She also volunteered for the Monroe Relay for Life, in charge of the Hall of Remembrance. Martha was a very kind and loving person who was always there for someone in need. She was full of life and enjoyed taking long walks with her husband and her dog Toots. She was lovingly involved in all of her nieces’ and nephews’ lives and greatly enjoyed attending all of their activities. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert. She is survived by her husband Richard, brothers Gerald (Diane), Thomas (Donna), Duane (Janet) Lauren and a sister-in-law Annete, and stepchildren: Emily Wilson (Daniel Butzer) and David Wilson and a special four-legged companion, Toots. She is also survived by nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly: Deann (Adam) Falkowski, Amanda (Andy) Marsh, Jacob (Amanda) Heck, Justin (Jessica) Heck, Christopher (Rachelle) Heck, Ethan Heck, Emma (Robert) Walters, Devon Heck and Christan (Celine) Heck and also great nieces and nephews: Brendan and Cara Falkowski, Lilly Marsh, Adelaide, Declan and Adler Heck, Robert Walters, Elias Heck, and Alaina Heck. Memorial donations may be made to East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church – Cemetery Fund, or The Humane Society of Monroe County
