Martha "KiKi" Stalburg

Detroit born and River Rouge Raised, the second daughter of John & Eunice (LaBo) Moriarity. Martha graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes in 1965. She went on to marry Manosus “Mike”Makridakis in Greece in 1968. They welcomed two children - John Makridakis & Beth (Timothy) Ferris. She worked tirelessly as a legal secretary and at one time owned her own catering business - showing her affinity for fine cuisine. Martha married the love of her life, Stanley Stalburg on March 26, 1981. Together, they enjoyed throwing fabulous dinner parties, hosting family and friends at holiday events and traveling world, arm in arm. Sadly, he preceded her in death on April 2, 1993. She was an avid reader and huge fan of Dean Koontz and James Patterson novels and most importantly, she adored dogs. She would have had hundreds if she could! Martha carried herself with such character, charm, humor and elegance and was always dressed to impress. Martha also known as ‘Kiki “ leaves behind her younger sister, Lisa (Stephen) Milligan, her niece Megan (Michael) Flynn, her nephew Daniel (Andrea) Milligan and beloved great nephews Declan, Kellan & Tommy. She also leaves behind her devoted, lifelong friends Rosie, Ruthie & Marlene. Martha is preceded in death by her mother, father, older sister, Laura Moriarity and her longtime companion, Herbert Kay as well as many other loved ones and cherished friends.
