Mary Adair

Mary Adair, born on March 26, 1929, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2026. She lived a full and vibrant life, known for her warmth and kindness.

Mary was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and was deeply involved with the Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church, where her contributions touched many lives. Her faith and community work were central to who she was.

In her leisure time, Mary found joy in reading, solving crossword puzzles, and birding. These hobbies kept her engaged and brought her happiness throughout the years.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her sons, Kurt (Jennifer) Adair and Bryan (Kimberly Bowden-Adair) Adair, along with her cherished grandchildren, Camden, Jackson, Andrew (Lanier Walker), and Abagael (Zachary DiGia). She is also remembered by her nephew Christian.

Mary reunites in peace with her beloved husband, John P. "Jack" Adair, and she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert (Beverly), as well as her nephew Shawn and niece Lauren.

Her legacy of love and commitment will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11 am at Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church.
