Mary E. Walker

Mary was born on August 27, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan and died on October 7, 2017 at her home in Allen Park at the age of 59. Beloved wife of 36 years to David. Loving mother of Rebecca (Franklin) Chrisinger, Michael (Alyssa), and Bethany (Erik) Hansen. Proud grandmother of Abilene, Layla, and Clark. Cherished daughter of Roy, Jr. and Barbara (nee: Daniel) Birmingham. Dearest sister of Bill (Bambi) Birmingham. Dearest daughter-in-law of John Walker and the late Abby Walker. Also survived by many loving family and friends. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4 – 9 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard) . Mary will lie in state on Wednesday at Inter-City Baptist Church, 4700 Allen Rd., Allen Park from 10 am until the time of the funeral service which will begin at 11 am at the Church.
