Mary Elizabeth Fountain

Born December 7, 1939 in Monroe, Mary was the daughter of Rowland and Augusta (Lehman) Berry. A graduate of Monroe High School, she married the love of her life, Earl Roudolph Fountain, August 27, 1960. Sadly he preceded her in death January 28, 2014. A dedicated homemaker, Mary had studied to be an X-Ray Technician. She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church; was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Newport VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory a son Robert (Pam Furton) Fountain; as well as 2 siblings: Leona (Mike) Johnson and Gloria (Larry) Sluder. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Joseph Fountain and 2 siblings: George Berry and Gertrude Reardon.
