Mary Jane Smellie

Mary Jane Smellie, age 85 of Trenton, passed away March 16th, 2017. Loving wife of the late John Smellie. Dearest mother of 13, the late Mary Decker, Jack (Darlene), Michael (Sandi), Margaret (Michael) Belfield, Patrick (Amy), Francis Joseph (DeAnne), Robert (Kim), James (Jacqueline), Timothy, Nancy (Craig) Prothero, Thomas (Catherine), Teresa (Derek) Millner, and Brian. Dearest sister of Frank Marek and Rose Steckling. Proud grandmother of 27 and great grandmother of 5. Also survived by son in law Dennis Decker. She was preceded in death by sisters Jean and Collette. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 3-9pm, Rosary 7:30pm, the Trenton Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Family will receive friends Monday from 9:30am until time of Mass 10am, St. Timothy Catholic Church, 2901 Manning, Trenton. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
