Mary Therese Kluender

Kluender, Mary Therese. Age 68, of Grosse Ile. July 16, 2017. Beloved wife of Peter Kluender. Loving mother of Kevin (Christina Brehm) Kluender. Will be sadly missed by siblings Helena (Dan) Curry, Michael (Sandra) Kuhn, Patrice (David) Nadeau, Rosemary Kuhn, Christopher (Candace) Kuhn, David Kuhn, and Anne Kuhn. Cherished Godmother to Meghan McAuliffe and Shannon Rose. Proud aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Dr. Richard and Rosalie Kuhn, as well as her brother Richard (Jane) Kuhn. Mary Therese was a dearly loved teacher on Grosse Ile for 30 years. She was also a long time volunteer at Henry Ford Wyandotte, an avid golfer, and will be dearly missed by countless friends throughout the community. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Auxiliary, as well as Henry Ford Cancer Institute Downriver Patient Needs fund.
