Matt R. Jeannette

Matt R. Jeannette was born on August 14, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan and died on January 11, 2022 at Courtyard Manor of Farmington Hills, Michigan at the age of 60; he was of Dearborn Heights. Beloved brother of the late Dr. Lynn Jeannette, Mark Jeannette, Jill Hanly, Bart Jeannette, Lora (Tom) Allen, Paul Jeannette, and Gina (Ray) Francis. Cherished uncle of Kevin Hanly, Rick Hanly, Britney (Corey) Olsen, Blake (Briana) Jeannette, Grant Jeannette, Shelby Allen, Karl Allen, Michael Francis and Paige Francis and great uncle of Braxton. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Matt was also preceded in death by his parents Dr. William and Laura (nee: Gibney) Jeannette. In addition to family, he has been reunited with his dog, Bob. Matt graduated in 1979 from Grosse Ile High School and earned his Bachelors Degree from Eastern Michigan University; Throughout his career he worked for many pipeline companies. A memorial service will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Saturday January 29, 2022. A gathering will be from 10:30 am until 1 pm with the memorial service taking place at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations will support the Brain Bank Discovery Fund at the University of Michigan.
