Melvin is survived his wife Antoinette Toni, a daughter Tiffany Lindsay, step children: Joseph (Melanie) Skowronski, and Paula (Robert) Haran. Melvin is also survived by two brothers: Marvin Brown & Roy (Barb) Griffith as well as three sisters: Nancy (Vaughn) Kregel, Ruth (Allen) Smith and Barb (Les) Griffith.
