Melvin John Denton Jr.

Born in Plymouth, Melvin was the son of Melvin and Jennie (Bosner) Denton. A high school graduate, he married the love of his life, Dolores Palomar, on December 29, 1987. Melvin worked as a Welder for Ford Motor Company and then for Rouge Steel, retiring in 2006. He was a member to the Community Bible Church in Trenton, the Free and Accepted Masons and the Shriners International. He enjoyed tinkering is his garage and yard, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memory, Dolores, his wife of the past 37 years; his children: Stephanie Denton, Shellee (Liam) Carroll and Harvey (Sharon) Dietrich; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and 4 siblings: Pamela (Greg) Burgess, Grace (Joe) Occhiuzzo, Debbie Gleason and Kathy Longfield. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a son John L. Denton.
