Michael Lee Potter

Born October 20, 1960 in Hudson, Michael was the son of Richard and Priscilla (Goodrich) Potter. A 1979 graduate of Monroe High School and 1983 graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Business Administration, he was a Purchasing Agent for US Silica in Rockwood for over 25 years, retiring in 2013. An avid MSU Spartan fan as well as a Detroit Tiger Baseball fan, Michael recently purchased a 1995 Corvette, fulfilling a lifelong dream. A man of many and varying interests, he was known for having a great sense of humor- he enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Richard and Priscilla Potter of Charlotte; siblings: Julie (Jim) Keenan of Shelby Township, Linda (Jon) Dickinson of Charlotte and Bill (Barb Bialko) Potter of Mason; nieces and nephews: Melissa, Sarah, Jeff, Marcia, Scott, Emily, and Nathaniel as well as 11 great nieces and nephews.
