Michael John McKee

Michael John McKee, 70, from Rockwood, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1954, to John and Marie (Lemerand) McKee.

Mike grew up Downriver and graduated from Monroe Catholic Central High School. He worked for many years at Quality Aluminum, where he would eventually retire from. Outside of work, Mike enjoyed watching Michigan football and spending time outdoors to hunt and fish.

Mike was proud of his family and loved being a grandpa. He leaves behind five grandchildren, and his daughter, Katie (Carl) Thomas, who will always treasure the good memories that they have together with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Greg and Randy; and his two sons, Michael Jr. and Patrick.
