Michael V. Roach, a distinguished pillar of the community, died peacefully on September 13, 2025, in Taylor, MI, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will resonate through the hearts of his family and friends. Born on April 29, 1958, Michael was a person of remarkable character whose engaging spirit touched the lives of many throughout Southeastern Michigan.

As a devoted father to his daughters—Jamie (Tommy Miles) Roach, Michele Misiak, Ashley (Malek) Musleh, and Holly (Craig) LeSage-Dodson—Michael cherished his family above all else. His proudest accomplishments lay in the smiles and laughter of his children and the vibrant energy of his grandchildren, Harper, Mia, Brynn, Chace, Zain, and Morgan, each of whom will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

Michael's commitment to service was exhibited not only through his family life but also in his numerous affiliations within the community. An avid hunter and sports enthusiast, he embraced the roles of referee for volleyball and football, as well as umpire for baseball and softball, demonstrating his passion for sportsmanship and fair play. His fondness for social games was evident as he enjoyed playing darts and euchre, bringing friends and family together for moments of joy and camaraderie.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Helen and Merl Roach, as well as his sister-in-law Sandy, brother-in-law Alan, and son-in-law Craig. Their absence leaves a profound void in the memories of those who knew them, yet it is through embracing the connection with Michael that his family will find strength and solace.

The celebrations of Michael’s life will unfold at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI. Visitation will take place on September 24 and 25, from 1 PM to 8 PM, with a funeral service to honor his enduring spirit on September 25 at 7 PM.
