Michael Shawn Collins

Michael Shawn Collins, of Riverview, Michigan passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 70. Loving husband to Barbara for 49 years. Beloved father to Sara and Sean (Christina Naylor). Loving “Pops” to Justin, Jacob, Joseph and Madison. Michael is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Francelle), Terrance (Linda), Patricia (Eugene) and Brian (Kimberly), sister-in-laws Jacqueline (Edward) Schembri and Kay Marie Mitchell; He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Nadeen Schembri, Colleen (Joe) Namm, Brian Mitchell, Michelle (Tim) Eccleton, Christine (Ken) MacMillan, Kelli Collins, Christopher (Laura) Collins, William (Nancy) Collins, Brian (Lisa) Collins, Lisa (Vic) Mroz, Eric (Jennifer) Hamilton, Emily Collins, Muriel Collins (James Newbold), Carly (Mike) Nowicki and Jolene Collins (Travis Hadd) and many great nieces and nephews. Michael graduated from Riverview High School in the class of 1967. He enjoyed fishing and swimming. He was an avid University of Michigan football fan, and a great handy man. He will be missed greatly.
