Michael S. Soldan

Michael S. Soldan, born on January 23, 1957, departed this life on June 20, 2025, in Riverview. He was known for his charming personality and as a beloved jokester among family and friends, who will always cherish the lighthearted moments he brought into their lives.

Michael's education was marked by his impressive athleticism during his high school years, where he actively participated in basketball, football, and track. His love for competition and sportsmanship laid a foundation for the rest of his life, reflecting his dedication and passion for physical activities.

Outside the athletic field, Michael enjoyed a myriad of hobbies, most notably deer hunting and fishing at the family cottage located in the upper peninsula of Michigan. These pursuits provided him joy and relaxation, creating lasting memories with loved ones amidst the tranquil beauty of nature.

Among his proudest accomplishments, Michael received recognition for his whimsical nature, winning an award for "most likely to say something random." This epitomized his spontaneous spirit and ability to bring laughter to those around him.

Michael leaves behind his loving sister Karen Kroppa, along with her husband, Udo Kroppa, as well as his sister-in-law, Ursula Kroppa. He was predeceased by his father, Laurence Soldan, and his mother, Patricia Soldan.

Family and friends are invited to honor Michael's memory during a Memorial Gathering on July 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Both services will take place at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101.

Michael S. Soldan’s spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew him, through the trails he walked and the countless lives he touched.
