MacDonell, Michael. Age 54 of Southgate passed away January 25, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon. Proud father of Riley and Ryan and amazing son of Aileen Carlsson of Bluffton, South Carolina. Dearest brother-in-law of Tonya (Jon) Sylvester and Mike Anderson. Loving nephew of Rick ( Maureen) Stooke of Tecumseh, Ontario. Cousin of Jackie (Craig) Burney, Brad Stooke and Kathleen Dalton. Dear Uncle of Tara and Caleb Anderson and great-uncle of Kyler Kelley. Life long friend of Barley, Gary and Tony. Proud dog dad of Kash and Louie. He was preceded in death by his father DJ MacDonell, stepfather Charles Carlsson, Aunt Judy(Bob) Fillmore.

Born in Washington DC, Mike was the Washington Redskins #1 fan. He loved his rock music , especially Sammy Hagar and Vanhalen. He was a FoxNews enthusiast and loved a good argument. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all. Go Redskins!

Visitation for Mike will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. The funeral service will take place that same evening at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
