Mildred "Tootsie" Kesterson

Mildred "Tootsie" Kesterson (nee Stanley), age 93 of Taylor, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the beloved wife to her late husband, Hubert N. Kesterson, of 55 years, who sadly passed away in 2007. Loving mother to Neal (Sue) Kesterson and Vicki (Shawn) Kesterson-McCormick. Devoted grandmother to Maggie McCormick. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her late parents, Millard Filmore and Nannie (nee Stewart) Stanley. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and four sisters. She was well loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 & Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101. Funeral Ceremony will be start at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Twp, MI where she will be laid to rest with Hubert.
