Galloway, Mildred L. (Hunter) of Grosse Ile, MI November 15, 1908 - September 5, 2007 (98 years). "She's gone home." Born in Miller, MO to George N. Hunter and Morna Griswold Hunter: the eldest of eight children. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years E. Dexter Galloway, Sr., her younger son Keith D. Galloway, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, a granddaughter and son-in-law. Survived by son E. Dexter Galloway, Jr. (Betty) of Hutchinson, KS, daughter Dorothy L (Galloway) Crooks of Trenton, MI and daughter-in-law JoAnne Galloway of Haslett, MI. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; 4 great granddaughters, sisters Ermadean Kimes of Trenton, MI and Ella Turpen of Alba, MO and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed but affectionately remembered. Mildred attended business school in Springfield, MO married E. Dexter (a.k.a. Deck) on March 10, 1929, came to Grosse Ile, MI to make her home, have her family, be secretary of St. James Episcopal Church from 1951 - 1986 and befriend many who knew her.
