Mr. Leroy F. Mott, Jr.

LeRoy F. Mott, Jr., of Allen Park passed away October 6th, 2017 at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed by his wife Shurae, his children Linda Murphy (Michael) and Kevin Mott (Tracy), stepchildren Michael Pawleszeski and Jennifer Kovalchik (David), sisters Janet Mott and Kris Mott, grandchildren Steven, Tyler, Mekinna, 5 step grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. He was born in Dearborn in 1938 to LeRoy and Shirley Mott. He lived in Dearborn most of his life, starting a number of successful businesses in Dearborn and surrounding areas. His love of auto racing moved him to become an NASCAR/ARCA official and previous owner of a Toledo Speedway. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 14th at 12:00pm at Crosspoint Free Will Baptist Church, 4015 Allen Road, Allen Park. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
