Mr Richard John Schneeman

Richard John Schneeman, age 71, of LaSalle, MI formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away January 2, 2014, he had been in declining health. Rich was born August 27, 1942 in Allegheny, PA to Henry and Rose (Kuzio) Schneeman, he graduated from Moon High School, Moon Twp. PA in 1960. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from July 26, 1960 to August 1, 1963 serving aboard the USS John W. Weeks DD-701. Rich was a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper, serving Erie and Beaver, PA. He was a member of Monroe Boat Club Bolles Harbor, where he served as Past Commodore in 2004, Past President Monroe Boat Club Blue Gavel 2006 and past President International Order of Blue Gavel District 9 in 2012. Rich also worked at Sears and Westinghouse in Beaver County, PA before joining the State Police. Rich is survived by his children, Rich Schneeman and Kim (Todd) Richards both of Beaver, PA; grandchildren, Thomas Schneeman and Rachel Schneeman of E.Palestine, PA, Larryssa, Zack, & Victoria Richards of Beaver, PA; brothers, Henry of Ohio, Fred of N.Carolina, Robert of Texas and a sister Rose Ann (Andy) Langton of Hopewell, PA; extended family, Carol A. Smith of LaSalle, MI and children, Shannon (Paul) Bowman of Monroe, MI & Shawn (Amy) Smith of LaSalle, MI; grandchildren, Chandler, Taylor and Dylan Bean, Shiloh, Colin and Bella Smith.
