Mrs. Marjie Gaskins

Marjorie Alice Gaskins (Marjie) 56, of Belleville Michigan passed away October 16th 2014 at home. Beloved wife of almost 20 years to William Holmes Gaskins IV. Loving mother to Jacob Charles, Chelsea Elizabeth and Cassie Laurell, and Grandmother to Carter Eligh. Marjie was born in 1958 in Orange California, to her mother Betty Jane and father Robert Charles Hankinson. She grew up traveling much of the United States as the daughter of a Captain in the Marine Corps. Perhaps this inspired her love of travel which she continued to do all of her life. Marjie worked for 32 years for Republic, North West and finally Delta Airlines. Marjie received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She loved good food and Socializing. She had a passion for cooking and a personality that could light up a room. Marjie had a big heart and was always giving to others. She is survived by her mother, niece Courtney, nephew Nicholas and Sister Debra Young.
