Mrs Melveda Marlow

Melvada Marlow, age 92, of Monroe, MI passed away Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Fountainview of Monroe, she had been in declining health. Melvada was born June 14, 1922 in Speedwell, TN to James and Florida (Leach) Monday, she married Richard (Dick) Marlow on October 11, 1947 in Monroe, MI, sadly he preceded her in death on October 8, 2012. Melvada was a member of Stewart Road Christian Ministries for many years, where she was very active in church functions. Melvada was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning was her specialty, most of all she loved and cherished her entire family and many friends. Melvada is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Ronald) Patterson of Monroe; daughter in law Linda (Richard) Harper of Monroe; brother, Carl (Atlas) Monday of Lafollette, TN; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, Larry Marlow 2003, 10 brothers and 1 sister.
