Raczkowski, (Jarosz), Nancy Anne, age 90 of Ann Arbor, died peacefully January 28. 2022. Nancy was born on May 22, 1931 to Frank and Mary (Tokarz) Jarosz in Detroit (Delray), MI. Nancy will be missed by her daughter Stasia (Kevin) Pitcher of Saline, MI, and her three grandsons Shane, Luke and Mark. She is also survived by her sister Sr. Mary Alice Jarosz, SSJ-TOSF of Cleveland, Ohio, sister-in-law Bonnie Jarosz of Redding California, sister-in-law Jean Jarosz, and brother-in-law Walter Pretko of Michigan. As well as countless nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and several great great nieces/nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Edward Raczkowski, parents Frank and Mary Tokarz (Jarosz), brothers Frank (Bonnie), Joseph (Jean), and sister Ann Marie (Walter, dec.) Robinson. After graduating from Lincoln Park High School, she worked in the credit files department at the National Bank of Detroit. She left the bank to start her family and volunteered at Hedke Elementary School, St. Timothy Church and the Knights of Columbus Bingo. Nancy married Edward Raczkowski on October 3, 1953 in Lincoln Park, MI. They moved to Trenton and lived for over 50 years before they moved to Ann Arbor. Nancy enjoyed reading, sewing, and crocheting. She made many of her own clothes and gave countless crocheted snowflakes to family and friends. A visitation will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes Trenton Chapel from 2:00 PM until 8:00 pm on Friday February 4, 2022 with a Scripture Service at 4:00 PM presided by Fr. Lesniak and family and friends memory sharing at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will take place at St. Timothy Catholic Church in state at 11:30 AM, mass at noon on Saturday February 5th. Burial will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ALS CURE project. Https:www.alscure.org.
