Neal Douglas Daniels

Neal Douglas Daniels, age 57 of Brownstown Twp., passed away October 23, 2020. Neal was born February 25, 1963 to Judy and the late Joe Daniels. He married the love of his life Theresa on October 5, 1984. Together they would raise 6 beautiful children, Aaron (Carilee), Tyler (Haley), Bailey (Meagan), Heather, Gavin, and Kaiden. Proud grandfather of Parker, Jonathon, Kindrick, Boyd, Nokomus, and Kolton. Also survived by a brother Danny (Lisa) Daniels. In addition to his father, Neal was preceded in death by his grandparents Neal and Faye Daniels, and Mary Berry. Neal was a graduate of Carleson High School. He was a member of Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church, but also attended Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church in Newport. Neal was an avid hunter, baseball fan, enjoyed playing a game of “Cornhole” whenever able, and also sang with the gospel group “Matchless Grace”. But there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will take place Tuesday November 17, 2020 from 2-8pm at the Ford Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River, Rockwood. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am until time of Funeral Service 12pm at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church, 8270 N Dixie Hwy, Newport. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in South Rockwood. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
