Panagiota Moutzalias

Panagiota “Pat” Moutzalias (née Zaharias) of Lincoln Park, Michigan passed away on October 24, 2026 at the age of 53. She is the loving mother of Maria, Anastasia, and Ioannis (Kailey Susewitz) Moutzalias. She is the beloved daughter of Zaharias Zaharias. The beloved sister to Eleni (Paul) Noel and Anastasios (Luda) Zaharias . The beloved sister-in-law to George (Christina) Moutzalias, Catherine (Angelo) Abellera, and Triantafylos “Steve” (Crystal) Moutzalias. A beloved aunt to nephews Zachary, Ethan, Nico, Leo, John, Achilles, Nico, and Demetrios.

She is preceded in death by her husband Demetrios Moutzalias, her mother Maria Zaharias (née Triandopoulos), her mother-in-law Mary Moutzalias (née Spanos), and her father-in-law Ioannis Moutzalias.

Pat was a server and a homemaker, who took great pride in supporting her children through their sports, clubs, and creative endeavors. She loved to spend time with family during holidays and special events. She loved to dance, joke, and play games with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed.

A wake will be held on Wednesday October 28 from 4-8PM at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes in Allen Park. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29, at 10:30AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Southgate.
