Pasquale Perna

Pasquale Perna, a beloved family man, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Riverview, Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on February 26, 1941, in Terrasini, Sicily, Pasquale brought joy and laughter to everyone he met.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Benedetta, and their three children: Francesco (Michelle) Perna, Susanna (Francesco) Giammalva, and Geraldine (Giuseppe) Menna. His legacy continues with his cherished grandchildren, Riss (Andy), Bellina (Nasser), Francesca, Massimo, and Antonella, as well as his great-grandchildren, Zinah and Aliviah. He also leaves behind his loving siblings, Lina and Enza, along with many nieces and nephews who held him dear.

Pasquale was known for his vibrant spirit and love for life. His hobbies included bike riding and walking, as well as frequent trips to Las Vegas. Always the life of the party, he had a knack for entertaining those around him and made countless friends wherever he went. His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family, and he took immense joy in being the "Fun Nonno" to his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Pietro, Vincenzo, and Ciccio, as well as his parents, Francesco and Susanna Perna, and his in-laws, Lorenzo and Girolama Biundo.

Pasquale will be remembered for his infectious laughter and unwavering love for his family. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary starting at 5:00 pm at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101. Pasquale will lie in state on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9:30 am until mass begins at 10:00 am at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 13249 Pennsylvania Road, Riverview, MI. Entombment will take place immediately following at Michigan Memorial Park.
