Patricia Ann Booth, age 84 of Hale, formerly of Carleton, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 surrounded by her family at Brookdale of Monroe. Born June 11, 1937 in Monroe, Patricia was the daughter of Norman and Margaret (White) Niedermeier. A 1955 graduate of Airport High School, she married the love of her life, Richard Booth, on July 2, 1955. Patricia worked for Monroe County Drain Commission and Selvidge Construction. Patricia was a faithful member of the Community of Christ in Riverview and Community of Christ in Tawas. She enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband, gardening, cooking, golfing and playing cards, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Patricia leaves to treasure her memory, Richard, her husband of the past 66 years; her children: Tim (Donna) Booth, Jim (Bev) Booth, Cheri Ritter and Brad (Maryann Stevens) Booth; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; as well as 4 siblings; Norman Niedermeier, Joan (Jerry) Hosterman, Dave (Trudy) Monroe and Darla (Chuck) Wooton. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents, a step father Lee Monroe and a brother Jim Niedermeier. In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been planned under the care of the Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions in honor of Patricia may be made to the Community of Christ in Riverview or the charity of donor’s choice.
